That wood body Buzzard is GORGEOUS. 🥵
Looks to be exactly like the Buzzard bass guitars Thunderfingers would use from the late nineties until his untimely death in ’02.
Love how it bassically has a built in armrest and an ergonomic handle. It’s my understanding that the Buzzard was the result of years of John Entwistle seeking out the ideal tone and body type of bass guitar. Luckily we can appreciate the many different eras and styles of bass tone from the Ox. This has such a powerful, grumbling, distorted sound; plus, this era really featured Entwistle in his final form playing with a lifetime of experience and technique.
The fact that you managed to pull off his all-fingers, hammering style is damn impressive, mate.
    More, please!
Royal Albert Hall 2000 and Concert For New York 2001 are the best to showcase!

Strangely, on the Buzzard you get more of the sound of the Alembic “Spyder” bass. I definitely hear a chorus pedal. What kind of amp/effects are you using? Are you using Rotosound Swing 66’s too?
